Latest Updates On Covid 19: Find Out The States With The Highest Figures As Relaxation Enters Day 2
The figures of Covid-19 cases as released by the Nigerian Center for Disease Control have continued to be on the rise as today's figures hit 245.

According to the agency, in a release through its telegram as received by eaglesourcenews as at 11:45pm, 5th of

May 2020 Nigeria records a total of 2802 confirmed cases of the virus, 417 discharged with 93 deaths so far.

Lockdown Day 2: Government Frowns At Zero Compliance May Reverse Orders

The agency went further to give the names of the states involved which are;

Lagos State which is leading with 76, followed by Kastina -37, Jigawa -32, 

Kano State which has been experiencing mysterious deaths recently has now 23 cases, FCT -19, Borno -18, Edo -10, 

Bauchi has 9 while Adamawa has 6, Two Western States Ogun and Oyo share 5 equally while Ekiti, Osun, Benue, Nigeria, and Zamfara share the same figure 1.

NCDC went further to advise Nigerians not to rely solely on their masks as this neglect could endanger their lives and also leave them at risk. It stresses that social distancing is what should be attached in addition to face masks.

Expressing their reactions on the zero compliance of the citizens, the presidential task force through its chairman Boss Mustapha have expressed their disappointments in the attitudes exhibited by Nigerians on what they termed low compliance on the orders given by the government as guidelines to avoid further spreading of the virus.

He further said that the government might reconsider its position on the

ease of lockdown in order not to endanger the lives of the citizens and also to avoid further spreads.

Other well-meaning Nigerians' have also tasked the people to adhere to Government directives or expect

governments actions and its consequences which will amount to another lockdown which Nigerians are
not ready to accept.
