Covid 19 Updated, Nigeria Records At least 21,000 Cases Of The Virus
Nigeria continues to record high in the number of Covid 19 as the country total cases hits 21,371.
According to the statistics released by the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control, about 21,371 has been confirmed, with 7,338 discharged and 553 dead.
The agency also released names of States involved in the recent 452 cases.
Lagos State leads with wide margin of 209, followed by Oyo State with a total number of 67, Delta counts for 37, while Ogun State has 36.

FCT records 22 cases, Abia has 20, Enugu (16), Bauchi (15), Kaduna and Ondo shares 8 each. Osun 7, Imo and Benue records about 3 cases each while Borno still records 1.

In a bid to ensure that adequate precaution is adhered strictly to, in order to combat the menace of the pandemic without further spread, the agency has rolled out necessary measures or terms of use on the social media platform.

Meanwhile symptoms like fever, cough, sudden loss of taste or smell has been linked to Covid 19. "In case you develop or experience any of the symptoms, do not self medicate, your states line" the agency mandated.
They warned that non compliance to the directives from the relevant authorities, especially health experts could lead to further spread or death.

Continuous maintenance of social distance, wearing of face masks, limiting or abstaining from large gatherings of not more than 20 individuals could reduce the chances of contracting the virus.
