Covid 19 Update: 501 New Cases Discovered By NCDC

501 New Cases of Corona Discovered By NCDC
Nigeria has recorded another Covid 19 cases which total about 591 in figures.
This is the second-highest recorded per day since the invasion of the disease in the country about 3 months ago.

According to NCDC, the Country now hits more than 15,000 confirmed cases with 5101 discharged while 407 is dead.

The States involved in the new cases are: Lagos which still leads with a wide margin (195), followed by FCT with (50), Kano has (42), Kaduna (27),  Edo (26),   Oyo (22),  Imo (21),  Gombe (17), Benue and Enugu shares the same figures (12).

While Delta and Anambra get (11) each,  Ebonyi (10),  Nasarawa (9),  Ogun (9),  Bauchi (8),  Kebbi (4),  Akwa Ibom, Jigawa, Kastina has (3) each.  Yobe and Borno share 2, and finally Kwara and Ondo records (1).

In a recent development, NCDC has made known its collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Port Health Services in Lagos and Abuja, to receive 269 Nigerians from India.

"We provided the groups with guidance and materials for observation of the 14 days Mandatory Self-Isolation" the NCDC noted.

Stringent measures are also on ground following the ease of lockdown phase 2.

The Measures includes:

 Mandatory use of face masks

Mandatory temperature checks

The physical distancing of 2 metres

Facility/Business owners must provide handwashing facilities or sanitizers.
