Argentina Looses Former Lengendary Player

Maradona dies at 60
Argentina has lost one of its foremost lengendary football player, Diego Maradona who was reported to have defaulted following a cardiac heart arrest on Wednesday 25 November 2020 at the age of 60.

His former clubs FC Barcelona, and Napoli announced his demise via a Tweet.

"FC Barcelona expresses its deepest condolences regarding the death of Diego Armando Maradona, a player for our club (1982-84) and an icon of world football. Rest in peace Diego

"Thank you for everything Diego," The Italian Giants echoes.

His death has sparked several reactions as many didn't expect his lost at this time he is most needed especially in his country. Expressing shock, the Argentine football Association describes his passage as a painful one which will create a big vacuum as he will be widely missed both in advise and intellect.

The former Argentine player captained his team and won the 1986 world cup. He resigned from international football after testing positive to cocaine in 1997. Diego is also regarded as the best player of all time haven clinched several titles both at the club and international level.
