I will empower youths and women
The All Progressive Congress flag bearer in the upcoming senatorial election in Imo North has vowed to focus on women and youth empowerment as soon as he is elected into office as the senator representing Okigwe zone come December 5 2020.

According to him, the zone needs someone who knows the road and cannot be pocketed or intimidated. "As a high ranking senator, I have all it takes to deliver imploring my previous experience," The ex senator said.

The zone since the death of late Senator Benjamin Uwajumogu has remained battered politically as a search for replacement raises shenanigans and upheavals. Senator Benjamin passed on the 8 December 2018 after suffering from a cardiac arrest. The zone therefore needs a candidate with the best experience with the people's interest at heart.

During the Osuama Anara ward campaign on Thursday 26 December 2020, he promised to empower the Women as well as the Youths to enable them celebrate the Christmas season in grand style. In his further speech, Ararume says wether he occupies a position or not, he still remains relevant politically as he is widely consulted in the region as a one time senator.

The APC flag bearer also claims he played a major role in the political appointment of some office holders in the region. In the election of the ex - Imo State Speaker, Hon. Chiji Collins, the Speaker House of Representatives for the zone, Hon. Mrs. Miriam Onuha, Ararume boasted to have championed their victories.

"I have also given jobs to some of your sons and daughters of which you can attest to, and now it's a pay back time."

Apart from the women and youth initiatives, he promised also to attract several federal projects including roads as well as restore its lost glory. As a way of boasting people's moral, the campaign manager promised to give each boot 30k provided the voted for the party. They also provided the four wards that attended the campaign with transport fare and other entertainment.

While urging everyone to put aside their political differences so as to unite together in making Okigwe great again. He persuaded those of the PDP and other parties to vote for Ararume, citing him as the only man for the job.
